DRAYTON, POLY-OLBION. Map showing Middlesex and part of “Hartfordshyre”. We think from the 1622 edition of Poly-Olbion . Hand colouring which if original is well done, and if more recent, age appropriate. Approx 36 cm x 28.5 cm. some minor toning, folded in the centre as usual, and with the remains of the original stub on the back. Very Good condition overall. The map shows the Thames (“Tames”)  and the Lea, with Watling Street, “ The first great Way of England”,  “Hamsted “ and “Hyegate”  and a female with bow and arrows to represent the wooded “ Enfeild Chase”. A lovely, lively map.
